Storm / Ororo Munroe

The one responsible for Remy being brought to the X-Men, Ororo is possibly Remy's only true friend. The two have more of a sibling relationship than anything else, but there could be so much more.

The two have a great deal in common, which is one of the reasons they trust one another.

Jean-Luc LeBeau

Adopted father and head of the Thieves Guild, he was responsible for Remy being stolen from his real parents and for teaching the boy all he knows about thieving.

Although more interested in the welfare of his guild, the man has been shown to choose family over business and do the right thing.

Henri LeBeau

Brother and friend, Henri was the one who accompanied Remy on his Rite of Passage some years ago. Very little is known about the man, but he was killed by assassins when he came to the X-Mansion to warn Remy about the Tithing Time.

Julien

Belle's brother and the jerk responsible for Remy being thrown out of the Thieves Guild. He refused to allow the war to stop, and attacked Remy during the wedding that would have brought peace. Remy was forced to kill the man, and because of that he was kicked out. Both families lost a son that way, and so the balance was maintained.

Julien was later brought back by Candra's immortality potion, but it did hideous things to him, and he soon died a second death.

Professor Charles Xavier

I included him here, for there have been suggestions that he knew all about the Marauders and Remy's involvement and yet said nothing about it, and allows Remy to stay with the X-Men. Makes you wonder what drugs the others were on when they found out about the whole thing and left Remy to die in the Antarctic. What ever happened to the X-Men don't kill?

Bishop

This is a man from the future who claims to have been raised by a future version of Remy. This leaves a whole tangle of possibilities for the pair. As things stand the two were slowing forming a friendship before Bishop was stolen off by Deathbird and Remy was given the boot by the drug using X-Men.

Marrow / Sarah

She was the little girl that Remy managed to save from the Marauders, but I don't think she even remembers. Of course I could be wrong as my knowledge of recent comics is pretty slim. She was taken into an alternate world where she grew up and then was brought back as an adult. Marrow, or Sarah, is now a member of the X-Men.

Lapin

Nothing is known about this man beyond the fact he is a member of the Thieves Guild and calls himself Remy's cousin. The only time this man has been seen was when he was trying to warn Remy against coming back to New Orleans. Guess he didn't want to see Remy hurt, which suggests the two have a long history and trust one another no matter what politics is going on.

Angel / Warren Worthington III

Gambit and Archangel have had a feud for a good while. For one, because of Gambit being that Gambit was the reason Angel lost his wings during the Massacre. Later on in the series, he's shown a friendship with Gambit, and has forgiven him for all he has done.

Anielle

Appearing in the second Gambit limited series, Anielle was a fallen Angel whom Gambit protected from the forces of evil.

Daredevil / Matt Murdock

Later on in Gambit's series, Daredevil made an appearance and fought by Gambit's side for a brief moment.

X-Cutioner / Carl Denti

Carl Denti was working with the Elysian Enterprises. By then, he was given the orders to transport a Gauntlet from the temple of Gharba-Sein, but, his plans being thrown away, Gambit stole it from him. Later on in time, Carl quit as the X-Cutioner, and returned to being a FBI agent.

Courier / Jacob Gavin, Jr.

Courier was Gambit's contact to the New Son, also being the man who gives Gambit his do or do not's, missions and such. Since their past, Jacob has 'fixed' himself into a female body to keep from being exposed.

Joseph

Even when Gambit first saw Joseph, he knew something was wrong with him, and his past. A feud being done between the two, they soon became hating of each other. After Joseph came into close contact with Rogue, Gambit became herendously jealous.

Emil Lapin

Emil and Gambit had been close since they were young. They've been through a few good and bad times together, and Emil is a member of the Thieves Guild.

Mercy LeBeau

Mery is Gambit's sister-in-law, and also a member of the Thieves Guild. She has been Gambit's friend for the longest time and will never leave his side.

Psylocke / Elisabeth Braddock

Gambit and Psylocke aren't the ones you may consider "close". She attempted to psi-scan Gambit's mind a few times, but ended up resented. Gambit sharing some feelings with her while she was in a coma, that may the closest they'll get to each other....or is it?

Mary Purcell

Mary was the "green mist lady" inside of Gambit's body during a short period of time. She first probed into his body in Antartica, being a prisoner of Magneto. When trying to help Gambit, she was killed by doing so.
